Hello!
I'm a Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach specializing in positive psychology and subjective well-being. I use a wide range of evidence-based coaching tools to help clients discover and pursue their own best visions and pathways to "living well."
We often begin by working on important behavioral aspects of physical health. Exercise, nutrition, sleep, stress, pain, unhealthy habits -- these topics usually bring people to personal wellness coaching for the first time.
I'm also a Clinical Tobacco Treatment Provider, and I've had the honor of helping thousands of former smokers, chewers and vapers kick their nicotine/THC habits completely as a first step on the road to enhanced well-being.
But there is more to well-being than just "not being unwell." Genuine wellness involves intentional movement toward a motivating vision of positive outcomes we prefer, and a solid plan for moving toward the positive experiences we desire.
One client refers to our sessions as "happiness training," a great way to think of it! Well-being often includes happy emotions, which we can definitely increase. But we also work to develop other fundamentals as well -- healthy, sustainable behaviors; positive relationships; purpose and engagement in life; personal growth and achieving meaningful goals.
